OLKeeper is a very easy to use tool that works reliably in the background.
If Outlook is minimized, the space on the screen becomes available,
but Outlook is still running and receiving e-mails as well as sending reminders!
New: Settings for OLKeeper
Determine how Outlook should behave in different situations, for instance:
Automatically minimize Outlook instead of closing it when the user clicks the cross in the upper right corner.
Prompt the user when he clicks the Close button.
Never close Outlook but always minimize it automatically.
Of course, these settings will be ignored when the computer shuts down. In that case Outlook will be closed as usual.
Important for corporations:
All of the settings are stored in an *.ini file in '…\Documents and Settings\All Users\...'.
The administrator can easily ensure via file attributes or permissions that no user can change the settings.
Optional prompt before closing Outlook
An optional dialog provides you with an additional chance to decide what Outlook should do before closing: Minimize, close, or cancel.
